Ten years on the hardest staple.
Sugar reaches every household and every cup of tea, which makes it a powerful carrier for vitamin A. It is also the most corrosive staple there is for the vitamin. Our sugar premix is a fortification approach engineered to address that, delivering vitamin A reliably at the point of consumption, refined over ten years across several African mills.
It is the blend that gives the rest of the company its credibility: Illovo Sugar Malawi manufactures its own premix for several mills in a turnkey plant Millhouse International installed in 2019, and Tongaat Hulett distributed thirty tonnes of vitamin-enriched porridge with us in Zimbabwe in 2020.

04Proof
A certificate with every batch.
Every batch leaves the plant with its certificate of analysis. Vitamin A is verified at the mill in about twenty minutes with the BioAnalyt iCheck, and dosing is tracked and reported in Palmatrack, so a mill, a regulator and the quality team read the same number.
