We formulate, manufacture and dose the vitamin and micronutrient blends that fortify Africa's staple foods, to each country's own standard, from Africa.

02The practice

Every mill we serve runs on four steps.

Built from a decade of operating mills, training teams and answering the phone. Millhouse International supplies the blend and the dosing equipment, verifies the dose where the staple is made and stays with the mill after the installation.

We evaluate your current operation and install what the line needs: premix dosers, blenders and the quality-control systems, sized to your factory.

Dose and fortify

We supply the blend and the dosing equipment. Direct supply, with a 48-hour response time for existing clients.

Test and monitor

Quality is verified by testing and tracked in software. Palmatrack follows performance and stock; the BioAnalyt iCheck measures vitamin A at the mill in about twenty minutes.

Palmatrack

Software that tracks fortification quality, equipment performance and stock levels across the operation, so the people running the mill know what the mill is doing, and the regulator can read the same record.

BioAnalyt iCheck

Mobile vitamin A measurement in about twenty minutes, at the factory or in the field. One reading replaces weeks of laboratory back-and-forth, and a batch that reads low does not ship.

05The standards

Fortification law is national.

The expertise is knowing each one. We understand the food regulations of every country we serve and manufacture each blend to the recipe its law names: iron, zinc, vitamin A and the B-complex for a wheat or maize flour; vitamin A for sugar; vitamins A and D3 for oil. The standard a blend meets is printed on the front of the drum.
